Background
For several years BarkSpa had issues with finding quality highly trained groomers in various states, in which we conduct business. We noticed a trend, that many groomers who were trained by Big box stores, or other “grooming schools”, that they all had something in common. Lack of detail and their training with other schools was not good enough. We would find ourselves having to continue training and or having to re-train these groomers.
VanGuard Grooming School
We ended up meeting the folks from VanGuard Grooming School at the Fun in the Sun tradeshow. After enjoying time talking with them we decided to send several of our grooming assistants and bathers to take continued education with Vanguard. We have to say that their unique approach to training quality groomers, who are detailed, was everything we needed! Vanguard Grooming School opened up locations in central Florida and they’ve been a pleasure to work with.
We hire ONLY Vanguard Masters or Vanguard Elite Groomers
Due to the fact that other schools just don’t train their groomers well enough to meet our client and our expectations, and due to the fact that every groomer we’ve hired, who has taken either a Vanguard Masters Class, or has a certification as a Vanguard Elite Groomer, are getting the highest client reviews, BarkSpa will only hire Groomers who train and graduate with Vanguard Grooming School LLC. Our customers can see the difference, and we as a pet grooming salon see the difference. Vanguard doesn’t only train groomers in the highest standards of grooming, they also give them courses on how to engage with clients, which helps a lot.
